Disclaimer

The material on Hawaiʻi Residents Directory is general reference information. The pages point to public rolls, record indexes, and directory collections, but the service is privately operated and has no government, court, library, or custodian affiliation.

Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. Hawaiʻi Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). No page here, nor any result returned by a linked search provider, is for deciding eligibility for credit, employment, insurance, rental housing, or another FCRA-covered purpose.

Accuracy and Changes

Public rolls can be corrected, web portals can change, and libraries may move or add collections. We try to keep descriptions current, but an office detail or coverage note may still be out of date. Check directly with the custodian before relying on a record.

No Legal Advice

These pages do not provide legal advice. They describe source routes for Hawaiʻi records, and they cannot replace advice from a licensed attorney who understands a particular matter.

Use Records Lawfully

Public access does not authorize misuse. Do not use information found through these pages to stalk, threaten, harass, intimidate, or injure anyone. Improper use may violate Hawaiʻi or federal law and breaches the Terms of Use.

Separate Search Providers

Some search boxes send information to an independent provider. Hawaiʻi Residents Directory does not control that provider's results, fees, or data practices, and the results are not consumer reports under the FCRA.

Links to Other Resources

Links lead to county property offices, the statewide Bureau of Conveyances, elections tools, court searches, libraries, and archives. Each outside operator controls its pages and services; we cannot guarantee its information or uptime.

Official Records Stay with Their Custodians

Hawaiʻi Residents Directory does not hold government voter files, court dockets, certificates, or original directory books. Hawaiʻi's Uniform Information Practices Act, HRS chapter 92F, governs access to many state and local records, but requests and correction questions must go to the agency that keeps a record.
